The Babysleep Doctor Your Baby is an integrated tool to assist parents with babies and young children.

It combines useful record keeping functions with an extended section of knowledge and
advice taken from many years of working with families with young children.

The authors principal work as a medical doctor relates to assisting the
development of optimal growth and sleep in children. The knowledge from this
experience is provided through this app.

Major functions include:

• Tracking nursing, feeding, and sleeping schedules of newborns
• Tracking a babys development and milestones
• Guidelines to assist parents to raise happy, healthy children who sleep well.

The Babysleep Doctor Your Baby app includes:

• Timers for tracking nursing, sleeping, and feeding schedules
• Capability to track multiple children
• Ability to record weight, length, and head circumference data and compare with
normal percentile data
• Summaries of feeding quantities and sleep times from day-to-day
• Function to record child health issues and medications
• Information sections with guidance on how to ease babies into a healthy sleeping
pattern.

The information sections have the principal objective of assisting flourishing families with children who sleep, feed and grow optimally.

• 18-21 hrs of sleep per day from birth
• approximately one 6 hour block of sleep at night by 6 week
• 8 hours as a block by 8 weeks
• 12 hours sleep at night by about 12 weeks of age. (This is likely to
include one overnight feed.)

• As a general guide The Babysleep Doctor Your Baby app aims to assist you achieve the following;
• 6 hours sleep as a block by the time the baby is 6 weeks old
• 8 hours sleep as a block by the time the baby is 8 weeks old
• and by the time that the baby is 12 weeks old for the parents to have an
evening for each other while the baby sleeps and then a full nights sleep
for you.
